bio.
Justin Eddy (he/him) is a Chinese-Canadian theatre artist based out of Tkaròn:to (Toronto). He has performed with The Stratford Festival (Michael Darling in Wendy and Peter Pan, Salesman in China, Richard II, Grand Magic, Love’s Labour’s Lost), The Charlottetown Festival (Gilbert Blythe in Anne of Green Gables the Musical, Tell Tale Harbour), The Grand Theatre (Marius in Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Elf the Musical, Hello Dolly, Evita, A Christmas Carol, Home for the Holidays) and collaborated on projects with Theatre Passe Muraille, Tarragon Theatre, Centaur Theatre, Geordie Theatre and Brott Music Festival. Justin is a graduate of the acting program at the National Theatre School of Canada.
As a producer, he has worked primarily with Theatre Direct, acting as an Associate Producer and as a Festival Coordinator for their Forward March Festival: Stand in the Place Where You Live. Justin now serves on the board for Theatre Direct.
Justin’s artistry stems from curiosity, risk and collaboration. He is passionate about bringing artists into a development process that are curious to explore a project’s central question and most importantly, devise a collaborative process that challenges individual artistic practices, incites analysis and propels dialogues outside of the creative space.
